ART IN PUBLIC PLACES 
The League installs rotating exhibitions throughout the year in the Gallery at Desert Foothills Library, the Gallery at el Pedregal, and in six community places in Cave Creek and Anthem.  These rotating series of installations highlight the artwork of Sonoran Arts League members and other Arizona artists.  The exhibitions include a broad range of mediums, techniques and styles.  Artwork on display is for sale. 


CENTER FOR THE ARTS AT STAGECOACH VILLAGE
 
The Center for the Arts A Stagecoach Village displays a monthly pop-up show of various themes. In November there is a Veteran's Art Show and the following month is the Small Works Show. 
 
THE DESERT FOOTHILLS LIBRARY & GALLERY
A rotating series of installations at the Desert Foothills Library highlight the artwork of League members.  Four times a year the works of dozens of artists are selected for display and sale.  Each 3-month show has a unique theme.  Artists’ works are selected through an application and jury process. The exhibits include a broad range of mediums, techniques and styles.  The Fall exhibit features work by artists participating in the League’s signature event, Hidden In The Hills Studio Tour & Sale.  The Desert Foothills Library also serves as the site of the Youth Art Exhibition as Studio #1 during the annual Hidden In The Hills Tour, featuring an installation of 2-D artwork by students in the Cave Creek Unified School district and local charter schools.   

GALLERY AT EL PEDREGAL 
Approximately 40 – 50 juried League artists display and sell their fine art in the Gallery at el Pedregal, adjacent to and in collaboration with the Boulders Resort.  Each artist displays one of a kind artwork in both the Gallery and Gift Shop; a rotation of artists occurs every 4 months.  The Gallery is open seven days a week from 11 AM to 6 PM, staffed by League member volunteers.  Art events and activities are hosted every month in partnership with other community organizations.  Partnerships include animal rescue organizations, youth art and education and workshops for persona with special needs

TOWN OF CAVE CREEK
In collaboration with the Cave Creek City Council, League artists have installed monument sculptures at two entries into town on Cave Creek Road.  A rotating series of installations throughout the town, in civic and court buildings, streetscapes and pathways, and partnering businesses.  In support of these public art programs, area schools, business and local American Legion past are continuously developing public murals throughout the Town of Cave Creek.
